Tunbridge Wells, Kent – 12 March 2025

Renaiss Health is pleased to announce that planning approval has been granted for the development of its next state-of-the-art physical rehabilitation and recovery centre - in Tunbridge Wells. The centre will provide tailored programmes of physical rehabilitation to support those recovering from orthopaedic surgery or trauma.

The approval for this second centre demonstrates Renaiss Health’s commitment to expanding access to essential rehabilitation services, serving a growing need for the UK’s ageing population.

The centre will provide an important new service in the borough’s health provision and existing clinical pathway, giving patients the ability to access recovery care designed to improve independence, mobility, and confidence.

The approved scheme will see the demolition of the existing redundant buildings on the site and the construction of a new, purpose-built facility, featuring a dedicated physiotherapy suite, hydrotherapy pool, 55-ensuite bedrooms and high-quality hospitality spaces, including a restaurant and lounge.

Jennifer Martin, CEO of Renaiss Health, said: “We are delighted to receive planning approval for our new Tunbridge Wells centre. This facility is an important milestone in our mission to deliver high-quality, specialist rehabilitation services tailored to support client recovery, wellbeing, and independent living.
