Work on Renaiss Health Richmond has begun

After many months of research, planning and design, we’re delighted that work has begun on our Richmond centre. We’re breathing new life into a former hotel - retaining and refurbishing a locally listed building, whilst also adding a beautifully appointed new extension wing to create Renaiss Health Richmond.

Across the Renaiss Health business, we want to make our mark in the right way, by providing benefits to our community and the environment. The deployment of environmentally conscious construction techniques is fundamental to us achieving this objective – throughout the construction process and onwards into the operational phase of the building. Our team recently visited site to see the progress being made. By rebuilding the rear of the building and enhancing the remaining portion in Sheen Road, we will improve the whole life carbon impact of the centre by over 70%.

Our approach to waste is an important realisation of our commitment to sustainably conscious construction - with 95% of waste materials from the rebuilding process being recycled. Waste has been separated on site into plasterboard, wood, mixed metal and mixed demolition waste. It will then be recycled at licenced recycling centres carried by our specialist waste carriers.

Opening in 2025, Renaiss Health will offer short-term residential stays to people who have undergone elective joint surgery or other orthopaedic trauma.
